Causara — Structured reasoning for institutional decisions
Causara is a causal reasoning platform founded by Aleksander Meidell-Hagewick. It structures investment and strategic analysis for institutional teams by making assumptions visible, mapping causal relationships, scoring evidence, and producing analytical outputs that teams can examine, question, and refine.
Product
Causara is a reasoning platform for institutional decisions. It makes assumptions visible, maps causal relationships, scores the strength of each link, and gives teams a shared model they can examine, question, and improve. The platform includes structured reasoning frameworks, causal mapping with driver scores for Influence, Confidence, Fragility, and Leverage, evidence traceability, scenario analysis, Watch Signals ranked by Hinge Score, and structured challenge of assumptions.
How It Works
Causara follows a six-phase analytical process: Define the Question, Gather and Score the Evidence, Build the Causal Structure, Trace the Causal Pathways, Test the Assumptions, and Examine the Reasoning as a Team. Each analysis produces structured outputs including a brief, scenarios, highlights, causal mapping, sources, and expert quotes.
Causara Intelligence
Causara Intelligence is the professional services arm of the platform. It works alongside institutional teams on questions too complex, too interdependent, or too novel for platform-only analysis. Engagements span macroeconomic dynamics, regulatory and geopolitical interactions, infrastructure and energy systems, capital allocation under uncertainty, and long-horizon strategic planning.
Insights and Analysis
Causara publishes research notes, methodology guides, use cases, and market analysis. Published works include Trust Flows in Infrastructure Finance and Ports as Digital Platforms. The insights section includes interactive causal reasoning demonstrations, example reports, and use cases covering infrastructure investment, energy transition analysis, macroeconomic analysis, regulatory impact assessment, and portfolio stress testing.
Pricing
Causara is priced around the scope of decisions, the depth of reasoning, and the degree of institutional integration. Three engagement modes are available: Exploration for teams evaluating fit, Active Deployment for teams embedding reasoning into decisions, and Institutional Integration for organisations building permanent reasoning capability. Every engagement includes causal mapping, scenario analysis, evidence traceability, Watch Signals, adversarial review, and assumption tracking.
Security and Governance
Causara implements encryption in transit via TLS 1.3 and at rest via AES-256, role-based access controls, audit trails, and data isolation. GDPR compliance is active. SOC 2 Type II certification is in progress. ISO 27001 is planned for 2026. Enterprise deployments support SSO/SAML integration, private cloud deployment, and data residency options.
About
Causara was founded to address a persistent problem in serious decision environments: reasoning fails not because people lack intelligence, but because assumptions remain implicit, evidence is fragmented, and understanding stays locked inside individual heads rather than shared across the team.
